we went to the zoo today and most of the animals were hiding out indoors.
HOWEVER
major highlights
the penguins.
we got to see the penguins eating!!
we got to play with a gorilla through the glass.. until a whole school came into the room.
the baby tigers were playing up a storm
the wolves came and hung out with us
Aryk is thrilled that he fed a Bison... and TOUCHED A PENGUIN
(which is forbidden)
just fun fun! it was nice that the weather is meh and that its a week day. more zoo to ourselves!
and he says he enjoyed my animal connections..
Oh! and I also enjoyed just spending the day with Aryk in general. (ha bet he'll wish he said that)
Oh! and if you ask a question about why the penguin stuft animals? when I was a kid. My dearest friends Janine, Allison and I would bring those penguins EVERYWHERE! and since the penguins are new to the Calgary zoo.. it was a must!
