Today is jonny Mah's birthday

But I didn't see him.

However
Aryk and I went on a walk
Played on swing sets
Practiced jumping off swing sets (Aryk yes jumped higher, but I landed on my feet every time and he did not)
Made cornmeal muffins
Went to a chili cook off where we tried 7 different chilis
And watched UFC
.. Man was it bloody
And played with new born kittens

Injection in the arm

Every Autumn a full year goes by which means that I get my annual physical every year in Autumn at this time of year.

the unfortunate thing about this... is that it is AUTUMN that I have my physical.

meaning what exactly?

meaning it is flu season!

yes.. that means that I have to sit in a waiting room full of people with more sickness than usual and NOT wearing the face masks that the front counter suggests if you are coughing and sniffling.

but really thats not the bad part about the annual autumn doctors appointment..

it means..

that no matter how hard it is that I try to say no and stand my ground

that..

I get suckered and convinced to..

get my flu shot.

uggggggghhhh

arm pain = 3 days

I just had the flu for a few days earlier so I think I'm over it for the season..

AND get sick all the time this time of year so really I don't feel as though getting a flu shot makes much of a difference... other than now I have arm pain for a few days and can't sleep on my right side.

But my doctor tells me this tragic story about her getting the flu when she was in university and how she strongly suggests the shot for the flu ruined her life for a period of time.

tragic. But I'm glad it gives my nurse friends happiness..

I seriously keep having eventful things for me to blog about.
but SERIOUSLY every time I sit down to write this cute little kitten King Arthur crawls onto the computer.. turns on the music cranks it up loud and then presses buttons and I don't know enough about computers to know what buttons to press to turn it back to normal..

also! my photo album on my phone is full.. so its going to be picture overload for a bit while I try to clear about my album.. (SO DIFFICULT!! I clear it yes.. but then there are so many things to take photos of I just end up back from the beginning!)
